Kenneth R. Allen Sr.

Over the years, Ken has entertained us with his jokes and stories. Now he has moved on to entertaining everyone in heaven. His “people” personality has followed him thru life. Selling his metal as “metal man” and different organizations he was a member of completed his life.

He is survived by many family members and friends who will always miss him. His memory will always be with us. He leaves behind his “boys” BooRay and Izzee.

Ken passed onto his next journey July 16, 2019 from Garden Terrace in Overland Park; his home away from home.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

If you so wish to make a memorial contribution please name Cottonwood, Inc. or Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

The family wants to thank the Garden Terrace staff who were so kind to Ken and family. They went above and beyond.

So sorry for your loss now I know why I couldn’t get in touch with Ken I was looking for some steel panels. I had a accident about 21 months ago and have been recovering and I hadn’t heard about Ken I’ll miss our conversations. Look to the Lord and he will sustain you
