Kenneth “Ken” Holden

 

Funeral services for Kenneth “Ken” Holden, 90, Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church in Lawrence. Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Family Cemetery in Okemah, Oklahoma. He passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home.

Kenneth was born June 13, 1928 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, the son of Armon and Rachel (Culberson) Holden.

He married Louise (Jimboy) Holden on January 31, 1953 in Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his daughters Gloria Patneaude and Ammie Holden, his son Tim Holden, Lawrence; 5 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 3 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter and a host of family across Kansas and Oklahoma

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    My father-in-law Kenneth Holden was one of the best men I’ve ever known. Ken was a role model Christian man of grace, wisdom, friendliness,generosity, and love for all people. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. I miss our conversations and his big smile.
