September 10, 1993 – January 1, 2022

Kelsey passed away at home in her sleep. She was a beautiful soul full of love for everyone. In her short life she battled many health issues, the main one being Type 1 diabetes. Even with all that, she had to face, she was a strong woman.

Kelsey is survived by her husband, Josh and son, William; her parents, Cheryl LaFrenz (Duane), Lawrence; father, Joe Webster II, Missouri; brother, Joshua Webster (Jessica); sister, Mandy Webster; niece, Khloe; nephews, Camdyn, Ryder, and Karter; father-in-law, Mark McReynolds; brother-in-law, Matthew McReynolds (Meg); sister-in-law, Mistie McReynolds (Jason); nieces Aubriana and Sophia; grandmas, Theresa Everson, Pam Smith, Marla Webster, all of Lawrence; Georgia Taylor, Missouri; grandpa, Cliff LaFrenz (Marjorie), Lawrence; aunts, uncles and cousins. Kelsey was preceded in death by her grandma, Alice LaFrenz; grandpas, Jim Smith, Jr. Joe E. Webster I; and an uncle, Jimmy Smith III.

A Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kelsey’s name to Warren-McElwain Mortuary to help defray her funeral expenses.

    So, so sorry to learn of Kelsey’s passing, our thoughts are with you all. A long time ago our daughters were inseparable and even though life eventually took us all in different directions, we still think of your family often and fondly. We will always remember Kelsey as the little sunbeam who brought so much laughter & joy into our home and our lives. She was a special person who will always have a special place in our hearts. We sincerely wish your family peace, and the strength to go on, at this terribly difficult time.

    I am so sorry for all of you. I wish I could be there, but Duane knows it is not possible due to my health problems. Allen and I are keeping everyone in our prayers.

She had an infectious, loving spirit that will forever dwell in all of those she encountered, loved, and allowed to be part of her universe.
