**Memorial graveside service for Judy Kay Bryant, 61, Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery. ** She passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Judy was born March 11, 1956 in Hughes, OK the daughter of Jess Floyd and Mary (Dees) Bost.
She worked as a custodial worker at the University of Kansas for 30 years. She loved her job. Judy delighted getting to know the students and faculty.
She loved animals, her family, baking, cooking, and giving what she made to other people, cook-outs, crocheting, going out for drives around the lakes and other towns she hadn’t been before, reading the newspaper, watching the news and watching talk shows. She was a very giving person.
She married William E. Bryant June 20, 1988 in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her sisters, Loretta Kasson, Topeka, Fannie Person, Mary Lee, both of Lawrence; brothers, Jess G. Bost, James P. Bost, Floyd E. Bost, and Harvey L. Bost, all of Lawrence. She was preceded in death by brother, Ralph L. Bost.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to Wounded Warrior Project and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

She was a best friend in school .I worked w Judy at ku. She always called me sweetie or doll.i remember when Judy and bill got married.i will miss her craziness .she had a great heart.I will see you again in heaven ..but til them good bless .may you RIP

Bill, I am very soon to learn of the passing of Judy. She was a good person. I admired how you and she both looked out for each other, you had a special bond you two. I will say a prayer for her soul and for you. Take care of yourself.
