Juanita Belle Marshall

Funeral services for Juanita Belle Marshall, 46, Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. She passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Juanita was born October 17, 1970 between Fairfax and Ralston, OK on the way to Pawnee Hospital, the daughter of James Robert “Bob” and Patricia Josephine Tall Chief Marshall.

She graduated high school in Riverside, CA and attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence.

Survivors include her two sisters, Elizabeth “Liza” (Steve) Strain, Linda Marshall both of Spearville, KS; three brothers, Peter Marshall, Dodge City, KS, James Robert Marshall, Jr. (Valerie), Larned, KS, Patrick Marshall (Cari) Saratoga Springs, UT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Paul David Marshall.

A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. with a visitation to follow until 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Crossroads Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
