Our Angel

Just to have another day; another hour; another minute.

One more chance to see your smile, and the genuine beauty in it.

How badly I want to say and hear “I love you” one more time, and hold your hand.

Never to hear your voice again.

Never to hold your hand.

In His loving arms, you are now the angel you were born to be.

Each of your memories, no longer lost – you remember them all, vividly.

Bells are ringing, and the rejoicing is one to be seen.

Every angel in Heaven is welcoming you – the gates are busting at the seams.

Learning to live without you, will be no easy feat.

Loving the feeling, knowing that you are now watching over me.

Everlasting joy in knowing the love you had for your family.

Shucking and jiving” to your favorite tunes.

Heaven may not be ready to keep up with a firecracker like you.

Easier days are sure to come. But with the pain comes healing,

As we know your new Home is the ultimate place we all long to be.

Save us a spot next to you, just as big as the spot forever saved in our hearts.

For we knew the time is only temporary, for us to be apart.
