His positive outlook and sense of humor brought joy to all he met.

He was outgoing, kind, generous, creative, hard-working and a great salesman. He was the founding owner/operator of Radical Athletic Wear and made uniforms for a variety of youth and adult sports teams including those of his daughters’ and nephew’s. He took great pride in designing and customizing original items for his customers.

Family was very important to Jeff and he loved them with all his heart. He is survived by his wife Robyn Adams Platz, his daughters Evan Grace (14) and Lilah Jane (12), mother, Terry Platz, sister Shelly Platz, brother Doug (Cory Murphy), twin brother Jon and nephew Eli. He was proceeded in death by his father, H.W. “Bill” Platz.

    To the Platz Family,

I met Jeff at UNA. Anyone who met him learned quickly that he was a humble, positive person with a great sense of humor. We kept in touch over the years. I last spoke to him December 3rd – he was about to deliver uniforms an hour away and it was almost 9 PM. He will be missed but never forgotten. Phi Alpha.
