Memorial services for James “Jim” Henry Flynn, Jr., 83, Lawrence will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at St. Lawrence Catholic Center in Lawrence. Inurnment was held Monday, November 16, 2015 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Schuyler, NE.

    Dear Marian,

    You and Jim were so kind to me when I joined St. Lawrence, and have been a loved part of the community there all these years. We will miss him. And I miss seeing you now that I’ve moved to Corpus Christi, my neighborhood parish. Now you have a new chapter in your life, and are very important to all your family and friends, just as you are.

    Mrs. Flynn,
    I saw you and your daughter at church this mooring, and I had this feeling, since Mr. Flynn wasn’t there, that something was wrong. After speaking to you and your daughter, I am now aware of your loss.
    My condolences to you and your daughter and family. I always admire, and gain strength from members of the permanent community at St. Lawrence Center. When I would see you and Mr. Flynn, it would remind me of my parents who are now gone.
    I wish for you peace and grace as you enter this new time in your life.
