Mr. Barfield was alway a good neighbor to us. When my husband was in a bad accident 12 years ago he would come and chat with him while John was on the porch. He would always have a smile on his face and something positive to say. We will miss him and his dignified presence and friendly manner. Our sincere condolensces.
