The LMH Health family of staff, physicians, volunteers and Trustees are so grateful for the life that Jackie led. She was a wonderful person and dedicated supporter of LMH in many ways. Jackie had over 50 years of service to LMH and supported our work in so many ways. There’s no question that the hospital and people that worked and volunteered with her were better off as a result. What a lovely and caring person she was.

    Jan Cooper:

Jackie was a wonderful friend. Full of sense and nonsense. Met her as a fellow volunteer at LMH. It was always a good day to work with Jackie. We discussed so many issues and solved most of the problems of the world. She loved her family and they loved her too. I am sorry for your loss. She will be missed by so many.

    Jeff, Scott and Deb–

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Jackie was one of my all-time favorite people, and I always enjoyed visiting with her when she was volunteering at the hospital. She was so kind and generous to everyone. Her contributions of time, talent and treasure to LMH Health and to the community are second to none. A truly special person who will always be remembered for her giving spirit.

The LMH Health Volunteer Family has lost a wonderful, loving and dedicated member of our Community. Prior to the Pandemic, a group of volunteers including Jackie would crowd around one of the tables in the Atrium every Wednesday to enjoy our lunch and our friendship for one another. It was close quarters but we didn’t care. Lots of wonderful memories resulted from those weekly lunches. Memories of Jackie will remain in our hearts forever. RIP my friend. You will be missed but not forgotten!

I learned to appreciate Jackie’s “Let’s get it done” spirit when we served on the Douglas County Historical Society board. If I chaired a committee, Jackie was always the first person I asked to help. She never failed me. For years, we walked together in the Survivor’s Lap at Relay for Life. I will never forget Jackie. My sympathy to her family who must cope with her loss.

It was with great sadness that I read that Jackie had passed away. Jackie and I shared a love of music – especially singing. We sang together in the Lawrence Motet Singers, the Plymouth Congregational Church choir and the Lawrence Music Club Chorus. My deepest sympathies to her children and grandchildren.
