Irene was interred the same day as my father, Richard Hain. Irene directed her lawyer not to tell any of Richard’s daughters when that would be because she didn’t want us there. So no one told us. We stumbled onto that information almost a year later. Imagine that. Not being allowed to attend the burial of our father, and it was all Irene’s doing. Maybe such evil runs in the family, like her cousin Richard Hickok (Clutter Family murderer). I used to say good things about Irene. But not anymore. Not after this.
