Christina, I was so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. It is very difficult to lose one’s Mother at your young age – I know from personal experience. Helen and I were Marketing teachers, and DECA Chapter advisors together for many years. She was an accomplished, dedicated, hard working lady and touched many lives along the way. She brought you to my home in Shawnee, many many years ago one summer, to “play” with my granddaughter who was about your same age. Family responsibilities will keep me from attending her memorial, but I want you to know I will keep you and your family in my thoughts, sending messages of strength, courage and comfort.

A sweet woman, great neighbor and teacher. We know she is at peace now.
