My mom Lucy and Hazel worked together at Drakes. Both went on to work at SRS.
They both loved garage sales. Those two had lots of memories, warm feelings, and laughs between them. Lucy passed a few years ago, but always asked about Hazel when we visited.
My condolences to Hazel’s family. We all thought a lot if her.

Our condolences to the family of Hazel’s, Lawrence, Blain and Barbrara. I have known her for many years along with Lawrence and somewhat with Blain as he lived across the street from Sue and I for a few years. Hazel had moved over to a different street, and I have thought about her many times as I drove past where her grandson now lives. I talked to Hazal many times in the past and I knew she was a person that cared for her family and her family background. What can I say? She was a nice lady and I always enjoyed talking with her and I am sure she will be missed by those around her.

Jim and Barbara McCoy, Riverside, Ca.
Hazel’s death saddens us, but wonderful memories live on forever. It’s been a while since we were able to come to Lawrence and visit but always had a wonderful visit with Hazel to reminisce. There’s just a few of us old timers around in Lawrence, but we are sure going to have a good when we get to heaven!!
Charlie was best man at our wedding 70 years age and Jim,s best friend, Lawrence was a little brat and Hazel was bossy and Mildred was once Jims girlfriend. So, in other words part of our family!!
Our love to each of you and smile and cry at the same time because we love you all.
It,s 75 degrees here today Lawrence you better come on out!!

I worked with Hazel for many years at SRS and she was my neighbor. Hazel was a wonderful friend and coworker. She did amazing work with the families she worked with through SRS family services. She made a great difference to the families she worked with, and they loved her very much. She will be greatly missed. I wish her family the best, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know her passing will be a great loss to you. May God bless and comfort you.

To my dear friend, Barbara, and the rest of the family as well; I have enjoyed reading all the comments on here and seeing how many lives Hazel touched in so many different ways! I too am glad I knew your mom and am thinking of things that have me chuckling right now; she was quick-witted and had a good heart. Even though everyone misses her and your hearts are heavy now, treasure the memories she gave each one of you. You truly have been in my prayers, and will continue to be…love to you my friend, Melissa
