    Ron,
Please accept our condolences as you grieve your father’s death. My husband and I remember when your father and mother would come to Norwich to visit your grandmother Ruth and attend church at the Norwich United Methodist Church. I imagine you were in on some of those visits. We also have been to the Eudora UMC to visit our friends the Knetsches while Dottie served as pastor there.
    Blessings / Karen and David

I first got to know Glenn around 10 years ago. He was the President of the Eudora Area Historical Society (EAHS) when I first started working with the EAHS in early 2011. It was obvious to me that Glenn loved his community and that he loved the history of his community. He was always dependable; he was always willing to do whatever he could to help the EAHS. Glenn served on the EAHS Board continuously from 1980 (when the EAHS was first established) until 2014. He spent 12 years as the Prairie Center Director, 5 years as Treasurer, 8 years as Vice President and 9 years as President. He served two stints as EAHS President, the first stint was in the early 1990s, and the second stint was from 2010-2014. No other person comes even close to matching the number of years he served with the EAHS. The fact that Glenn served on the EAHS Board for 34 straight years says a lot about his commitment to the EAHS, to Eudora History and to the Eudora Community. Glenn’s passing will be deeply felt in the Eudora community. We offer our condolences to his son Ron, and all of his family and friends. We will miss Glenn profoundly. But the impact he made on the Eudora community and with the EAHS, will be visible and felt for decades to come.

Got to know Glen since my family was a part of the Eudora Church. When I left for college and later after I went into the ministry, on the rare occasion that I could visit home, Glen always wanted to visit and catch up. I appreciated that from the 1960’s and since. I will remember his kindness.
