Gerald L. Cartwright

Memorial inurnment for Gerald L. Cartwright, 87, Denver, CO will be held at a later date at Davis City Cemetery, Davis City, IA. He died December 16, 2013 at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, KS.

Gerald was born on January 5, 1926 in Davis City, IA the son of Ernest Vere and Hazel Fern (Duffield) Cartwright.

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

He was an accountant for the Colorado Credit Union in Denver, CO.

Survivors include two sisters, Darlene Dubes, Storm Lake, IA, Sharon Leftwich and husband Jack, McLouth, KS; brother-in-law, Don Latta, Dayton, Ohio and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Latta.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Grace Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
