Frances Wilson

Private inurnment for Frances F. Wilson, 86, Lawrence, KS, will be held at the Fredonia Cemetery in Fredonia, KS.  She died on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at The Windsor of Lawrence.

Ms. Wilson was born on March 31, 1927 in Fredonia, KS, the daughter of Loyd and Hazel Phay McPheeters Bunch. She had lived in Fredonia, Lawrence and Abilene, KS. She moved back to Lawrence in 2008 from Abilene.

She was a retired registered nurse and had worked at the Watkins Memorial Health Center on the Kansas University campus and later the Dickinson County Visiting Nurses.

She was a member of the Abilene United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff and his wife, Pam Wilson, of Poulsbo, WA, Joe and his wife Diana Wilson, of Lawrence, KS; two sisters, Dorothy Hanser, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Ruth Hagstrand, of Abilene, KS; seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the Abilene United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
