Frances “Elaine” Belt

No services will be held for Frances “Elaine” Belt, Spring, Texas. She died April 26, 2018 in Humble, Texas. Inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.

She was born on July 23, 1923 in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Perry and Velma (Vickers) Dillon She was a member of the Eagles lodge and a lifetime member of the VFW post 852 Auxiliary Both in Lawrence She married Rex Williams in 1943 He preceded her in death in 2002.

She later married Harold F. Belt in 1962 he preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include her two sons, Randy A Belt, Spring, Texas and Michael L. Belt of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, Misty (Belt)Perinne, Cody Belt, Cory Belt, Lesley Belt, Robert Belt, Lara (Belt) Ondruch, and William Belt; three great grandchildren, Kade Belt, Tristan Perinne, Parker Ondruch She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Belt in 2012; three brothers, Bill, Matt, and Jerry Dillon; One sister Judy (Dillon) Turner and her special friend, Wilbur Meier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to VFW Post 852, Lawrence, Kansas and maybe sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life on earth (John 5:28, 29). I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.
