Funeral Mass for Eduardo Joaquin Olvera-Cruz, 16, Lawrence, KS will be at 10:00 a.m Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date.

Eduardo passed away on Wednesday, June 19 ^th , 2019 at home.

He was born October 27 ^th , 2002, in Lawrence, KS the son of Joaquin Olvera-Ramirez and Maria Cruz-Martinez.

Eduardo was currently a sophomore at Free State High School.

Eduardo was known as a nice young man who would give his shirt of his back to anyone.

He enjoyed listing to music while working on his car. His two favorite sports were Soccer and Football. If there was a game on tv, he was there watching it. If he wasn’t watching sports on tv or working on his car, he was playing video games. Above all he loved to spend time with his family and their two dogs.

Survivors include, his parents, Joaquin Olvera-Ramirez and Maria Cruz-Martinez, Lawrence; one brother, Juan Angel Olvera-Cruz, Lawrence; grandfather, Joaquin Olvera, Lawrence and many other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24 ^th , 2019 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
