Private family services will be held at a later date for Duane Anthony Rothwell, 41, Lawrence at Oak Hill Cemetery. He died June 29, 2011 at his home.
Duane was born on December 22, 1969 in Lawrence, KS the son of Harold Rothwell of Manhattan, KS and Cheryl (Arensberg) Rothwell of Lawrence.
He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1988. He had owned Pro Sound in Lawrence.
He married Dawn Hamilton-Grey on August 23. 2000. They later divorced.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kelly, in 1989, and his Grandparents, Mary Lou Arensberg in 1989 and John Arensberg in 2008.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
