Joe, Judy & Roy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mother was one of the sweetest, gentlest people I have ever known. I remember when I was a little girl and she was a teenager and I thought she was so pretty and funny. She was always laughing and could talk faster than anyone I ever knew! I will miss getting to visit with her when I am in Lawrence. I am blessed to have had her for an aunt. Fred and I send our love and sympathy

    Hi Joe,

So sorry—and surprised— to read of Dessie’s death. I’ll always remember her shouting across the dining room at Pioneer Ridge “Chair, chair” when the chair at her normal dining space was missing.
