Mrs. Skabelund was a firm yet kind teacher who was full of warmth and humor. I had two math classes with her in the early 80s at Cibola High School in Albuquerque, and while my memories of math classes are not good, my recollections of Mrs. Skabelund are all wonderful. Grace and Peace to her soul and her surviving family.
