    Laura Nash, and family,

Cynthia and i were friends in school, especially at West Junior High, and later in high school. I also saw her at holiday dinners and other events at Watkins Hospital, as my mother Beverly Crane Nordmark was staff there, and among the many doctors on staff, Bev especially liked and respected your father Rens McClure a great deal. I last saw Cynthia at her wedding, and I’ve thought of her many, many times over the years. I’m so sorry you have lost her now, but I’m glad I saw the LJWorld notice–I don’t really read it that often now, as I live in California. You are in my thoughts.

Cynthia was my sister-in-law while I was married to her older sister. Cynthia was quite memorable, not only for her beauty, but also for her kind heart and joy of life. Sorry I wasn’t able to keep in touch with you since our time in Lawrence and KU back in the early 70s. May your beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
