My Heart and prayers for the families, I pray the Lord touch your hearts and minds. My deepest sympathy ✝️💜🕊🕊🕊
When I think of Chybon, I think back many years ago when I lived in Lawrence. At the time my sister, Pat Lorentz and I use to take her grandson Ernie to football practice every day after school. Jamie, Chybon’s mother is our first cousin. Ernie and Chybon were not only related, but also best buddies.
It became so much fun to watch those little guys practice. My sister and I enjoyed it as much as the boys did. Chybon was a delightful child. He was so cute, friendly, respectful and sometimes could be really funny. It is my understanding that he remained the same throughout his life.
My heart broke for Chybon’s immediate family upon hearing the news of his passing. Our family, it seems, has lost several members within the last couple of years. It is so sad to think of them not being here any longer.
However, there is one thing our family believes in and that is that we will see them again, when our times come. We are blessed to have grown up with that spiritual knowledge and belief.
What a reunion we will all have one day!!!
Please know that my prayers are that God will comfort the family during this time and that He will bring His peace that passeth all understanding.

So…so sorry about Chybon passing. I only knew him as kind & helpful whenever I was stumbling around with a heavy load or something. He never even waited for a thank you.
I pray some peace will surround you all. The love for Chybon makes this all the more painful, but love grows. When folks who love Chybon gather together, Chybon’s love continues in a good way for everyone.
Sending my heartfelt condolences to the Rex Culley family. May you find peace in knowing you will see him again one day.
Chybon loved sports. He knew all about them too. When I think about Haskell his face comes to mind from the many people I had the fortunate time of meeting. He always had something hilarious to say. I’m sure he was that way in everyone’s hearts at Haskell. Thank you Chybon. Praying for your family for strength and peace.
