Charles “Charlie” S. Bunnell

There are no services scheduled at this time for Charles “Charlie” S. Bunnell, 78, Lawrence, Kansas. Charlie passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at LMH.

Charlie was born on April 16, 1942 in, Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Charles S. and Genevieve (Simmons) Bunnell.

He married Jacqueline Davis on October 17, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois and she survives the home.

Other survivors include his children; Corinne Romero, Michael Bunnell, grandchildren; Cassandra, Jonathan, Jason, and sister, Suzanne Rinaldi.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made in Charlie’s name to The Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

    I am sorry for your loss Jackie, and family. I graduated from High School with Charlie. I remember him as a music lover and recall him singing in Finnian’s Rainbow. He was a great guy!
