I enjoyed taking care of him in the hospital. He called me “Cookie” and I called him “Fred”. It was a running joke. He always had a smile. I will miss him.

My sincerest sympathies to Charles’s family. He was a very kind and thoughtful person who will be missed by everyone who knew him…
Chuck & I met in the late 60’s when I used to buy Flex Kleen dust filters from him and later bought his products represented by ChaDa. Chuck was the only Rep calling on me who knew his product. We became good friends during the following years; even competitors later on but always remained good friends. I’d have to say
Charles (Chuck) Whatley set the bar very high for manufacturers reps in the
Midwest. My prayers are with all the family for the loss of this wonderful man, Chuck Whatley.
Prayers for Chris and all Chucks family and friends which are many. Our long friendship of almost 60 years, I consider a wonderful Blessing of God.

Chris, Jessica and families: Chuck had the great gift to enlighten a room when he entered. He taught me so much when I came into the industry. I will always remember him for his willingness to share his knowledge. My sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.
I am so sorry your loss. I really thought the world of this man. He was a good friend. I enjoyed his stories and his laugh. I will miss him. RIPMY FRIEND.
Chuck founded Chada Sales and was a manufacturers representative for Vortex Valves. I always enjoyed working with him as he called on customers in the dry bulk material handling industries. Chuck was both a salesman and a teacher. His “English accent” was a favorite trade mark!
