I am so sorry to hear this news! May her rest be peaceful! God Bless her and her family!
Lora and Stacy, I met your Mother when I was a senior at LHS and she was a sophomore. Many years later Stacy and my son, Lawrence Trowbridge, were classmates at Wakarusa Valley School beginning as kindergartners. And, I became friends with Lora when she began working for LMH Health and I was and continue to be a Volunteer at LMH Health. Your Mother never changed from the time I met her in high school through the times I had an opportunity to visit Carolyn until her untimely death. She was beautiful inside and out and I treasure the memories I will always have of your Mother. Lora, Stacy, Steven, Chris, Andy and the grandchildren, you are in my prayers. Each of you will find comfort in your memories of this wonderful woman.
Carolyn, what can I say ? I and my sister Vicki were blessed to say she was our cousin. She was so wonderful and loving to us as her younger cousins . And we both felt a comfort and happiness when we were with her. She was as one post said so beautiful inside and out. She did go through some very tough issues in her life. But always stayed the course and put on a happy face. She was strong for the family even through her own pain. A very strong will. Both Vicki and I along with my wife will always have good memories of her. As the years went by we worked , raised families of our own and yes unfortunately we didn’t visit as often as I would have liked. But our feelings for her never did wain. I know she was responsible for raising a good family. Who became great people. So I say she was a successful human being and parent. Carolyn and John both will never leave our thoughts. God bless you my cousin. And I send condolences and prayers to all the family. George & Barb Goff and family , John & Vicki Goff Miller and family. ❤️
Stacy and Laura I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Many thoughts go back to our days at Wakarusa. Your whole family is in our thoughts and prayers during this time.
