Carl Mac Baise, 89, Eudora, passed away April 21, 2023, at Rock Creek in Ottawa. He was born May 31,1933 in North Kenova, Ohio to Charlie and Ora (Money) Baise.
Military Honor Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora, KS. Burial will follow at Eudora Cemetery.
Carl proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring on his birthday in 1972 as Master Sergeant in Rocket mechanics.
Carl married Violet “Lucille” Baise on August 29, 1961, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2015.
He was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his son, Russell Baise (Mary Beth), Wellsville, one daughter, Mary Lynn Baise, Eudora, eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Michaela, Kaycee, Kristen, Matthew, J.T., CeCe, and Daphne, three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Piper, and Journey.
Carl was also preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carla Baise, son, Donald Baise, and one great-grandchild, Emberlee Culley.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Wounded Warriors Project and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
