So sorry to hear about Bruce. May GOD take you threw this.
So sad today as Leon and I try to understand the passing of our dear friend and neighbor. All of Eudora lost a great neighbor. Bruce touched so many people. His gifts were time, kindness and love. He always had time for others. Love and time to be the parent to many foster children as well as his own sons and to be a dedicated husband for Bonnie, time to be there for neighbors with farming and friend needs, and kindness to anyone he came across. You are all in our thoughts and prayers as we grieve your loss together.

Bruce’s love for everyone will never be forgotten, the love he has for his family and friends will be a never ending love. He will love each one of us even with him not being here with is physically. Great man, with such a big heart will truly be missed by many.
Bonnie, we were so sad to hear about Butch. Pat just loved him the first time she met him because he was so unpretenscious and just an all around good guy who would do anything for friends and family.
When Brian was a poor, broke college student living in Kansas City and blew the motor in his car, Butch and Greg Neis came up to his house with Butch’s truck and flatbed trailer and, after giving Brian what he felt was an adequate amount of jazz for trashing his car, he winched the car onto the trailer and took it back to the farm where he helped Greg put a rebuilt motor Brian’s Mom had bought in it. Probably no need to tell you he wouldn’t take a dime for any of it. What a great guy!
God must have decided he was too great a treasure for this world and he needed him in heaven. We have Bonnie and the whole family in our prayers.
Bonnie and Family,
We are all so very sorry for your loss. It is also a loss for the entire community. Landon called us from the Air Force Academy as soon as he heard. He was obviously upset, but also thankful for the time he got to spend visiting with Bruce over this last Christmas break. Landon greatly appreciated Bruce being generous with his time and hunting land. Bruce was a great roll model for so many young people in the community, including Landon.
You are in our thoughts and prayers,
Paul and Cherri Walrod Family
