Bruce Allan Trowbridge

Visitation for Bruce Allan Trowbridge, 51, Lawrence, will be held Saturday July 11th from 1pm-4pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3615 W. 10th St. Lawrence Kansas). Bruce passed away on July 2, 2020 at his home.

Bruce was born February 19, 1969 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of John Howard and Connie Jean (Hendrix) Trowbridge.

He was a Truck Driver who worked many years at Jack Cooper Transport. He was also co-owner of Direct Auto Transport. He was a member of the teamster union 41.

He married Jennifer Lilienkamp on October 9, 1999 in Lawrence, KS. She survives of the home.

Survivors include his daughter Rylee Christine, and son John Allan both of the home. Mother, Connie Trowbridge of Overland Park, KS. Sisters, Tammy Randel of The Colony, Texas and Linda Huggins of Overland Park, KS. In-laws Gayland and Linda Lilienkamp of Lawrence, KS, and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his Father, John Trowbridge.

Contributions may be made to The Trowbridge Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    Bruce was a terrific father, husband and son-law. He use to drive me crazy (especially in my kitchen). He will be truly missed. But Jennifer, Rylee and John you have a terrific support group. Just remember all your great memories. He loved you all so much.

    Bruce was like a second father to me he helped me through a lot he was hard on me when I needed it and there for me when I needed him I would give anything to have him back, back into our lives he was my best friend and always knew how to crack a smile on everyone’s faces even if it was a bad time.
