Brenda Lee Dolina

Brenda Lee Dolina, age 57, died on March 5, 2017 in her home in Eudora, Kansas. Brenda was born on October 31, 1959 in Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of James and Beverly Willis.

Memorial services for Brenda will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora.

On August 15, 1975 Brenda married the love of her life, Donald Mack Dolina, who survives of the home with their three daughters, Jennifer Dolina (James), Jacqui Folks (Mike), all of Eudora and Samantha Mauricio (Renson), Lenexa, KS and eight grandchildren, Madison Saxer (Cody), Aiden Saxer, Trinity Stickley, Bret Folks, Ethan Folks, Garrett Folks, Jackson Mauricio and Keylee Mauricio.

Brenda enjoyed reading, her dog and her family. She was a funny, kind and loving woman who was loved by all who knew her. She could always be counted on to bring laughter to any event and would always show up when needed. As her daughters were growing up she could be found volunteering at their schools and in the stands at all of their functions. As her grandchildren grew she carried that tradition on and supported them with pride in all they did. By her side through it all was her beloved husband, Don. There was never a greater love story than theirs. She loved whole heartedly and with passion. She will be missed and cherished by many.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, James Willis; two sisters, Anita and Karen; mother-in-law, Margret and father-in-law, Junior.
Brenda is also survived by her mother, Beverly Wyant, Eudora; sisters, Beverly Cadue (Kenny), Bonner Springs, KS, Sheery Regalado (Jose), Eudora, Linda Peak (Larry), Spring Hill, KS, Mike Willis (Judy), Pat Willis (Candy), both of Eudora, Beth Ann Krenger, Baldwin City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charitable contributions to honor Brenda’s life can be made in her name to The Eudora ACES Autism Fund, P.O. Box 322, Eudora, KS 66025 or may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

My family and I are heartbroken for your loss as well as ours – of a wonderful family friend, mentor, and babysitter. We have many fond memories of Brenda, you, and your girls that we will always cherish. I’m sorry Adria, Angela and I are unable to attend the service but send our prayers to you. We hope to make it out that way soon and will be sure to stop in to say hello so we can reminisce old times and celebrate Brenda’s life.
