    Mary and family,
So sorry for your loss. Worked with Bob at Jayhawk Station back when I was a rookie carrier (late 80’s and 90’s). He was always kind and helpful. And man could he take care of a lot of mail–he always made it look easy, but his were some big shoes to fill when I had to carry his route. What a great guy! He will be missed.

Bob was special and I always had respect for his integrity in coaching young men and appreciated following in his footsteps with the 14 – 15 year old VFW team he allowed me to take over and then I followed him by taking over Breakfast Optimist Babe Ruth team for a couple of years. He left me in great shape eith both teams! I always enjoyed Bob!
