Memorial services for Betty Jean Todd, 91, Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. She passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

    Betty was such a sweet lady. She was my mom’s best friend and a second mother to me. She will be missed. Sending my love to Tina and her 2 boys.

    Betty was my sister’s best friend. Even after my sister died, she was like a member of our family, invited to family dinners. I will miss her.

    I offer a weekly blood pressure clinic at Babcock Place. Betty came faithfully every week for the past several years. She was always first in line. She had such a bright and happy outlook on life. I know she loved her Dove chocolates and on occasion she would slip me one from her “stash.” She loved to tell me about her grandsons and her daughter and what they were up to. She was definitely a bright spot in my week. I will miss seeing her a lot. My sincere condolences to Betty’s family on the loss of a dear and kind lady. Aynsley Anderson, RN.
