There are no services scheduled at this time for Barbara S. Lytton, 73, Lawrence. Barbara passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her residence.
Barbara was born on May 20, 1947 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Dr. George J. and Vivian (McKimmey) Lytton.
She graduated from KU, and worked for Assurant as an IT specialist. .
She loved the active life, enjoying camping, canoeing and backpacking. She managed to find a rare Rialta camper van and enjoyed trips to the Southwest with her brother. She even liked shoveling snow and mowing the lawn into her 70s.
Survivors include brothers, John M. Lytton of Lawrence, KS, James J. Lytton of Lincoln, NE and host of other relatives and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Kansas Zen Center, or the Lawrence Humane Society, and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
