Antonia (Toni) Ramirez

Memorial Mass for Antonia “Toni” Ramirez, 89, Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lawrence. She passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community in Lawrence.

Antonia was born in Chanute on June 13, 1929 to Patricio and Rosa (Romero) Garcia.

Antonia loved to garden, go to the movies, garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her four sisters, two brothers, four children, David Davison, Lawrence, Dennis Davison, Topeka, Patty Davison, Lawrence, and Christina Stoddard, Lawrence; and 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Duane Davison and Marion J. Ramirez, daughter, Linda Marie (Davison) Benitez, two brothers and two sisters.

    Toni always had kind words for me at Pioneer home. She always looked her best with a flower in her hair. I will miss visiting with her when I visit my mother. My condolences to her family.

    So sorry to hear of the passing of Antonia. I knew her from Pioneer Ridge. She loved playing Bingo and listening to any Elvis song. Loved her sweet smile. RIP dear friend.
