Andy was born on January 7, 1989, in Lawrence, KS, the son of Arnold Richard Toyne and Rae Lynn Willits
Andy graduated from Lawrence High School and had an advanced degree at the School of Hard Knocks, he had numerous degrees from this school.
Andy was a man of many talents to include riding a unicycle through South Park while playing a guitar, playing the harmonica and the didgeridoo, and being able to construct almost anything by just looking at an example. He was an avid painter, drawing inspiration from Bob Ross. He was an amazing chef with no formal training and loved his job providing fine dining for Delta Tau Delta at KU.
He was a very determined individual. While still in high school, he decided he wanted to work in the kitchen at a specific restaurant in Lawrence. He showed up to apply for the job with such regularity that the management finally realized he was more reliable than many of their staff and hired him.
As all of his friends and family will attest, Andy was always available to assist anyone in need. It did not matter the need, Andy would help. You need to move, call Andy, you need financial assistance, call Andy, you need a laugh, call Andy. But best of all, if you need a hug, call Andy for the best hugs!
Andy had many trials in his short life and found a way to triumph in those trials. He had a strong will and a loving heart. He will be missed by many friends and family but most of all by his ever present companion, his dog Houdini.
Andy is survived by his brother, Aaron Lowell Toyne, aunts and uncles, Calvin (Tammy) Willits, Barry (Jean) Willits, Beverly (Goerge) Madina, Donna (Gene) Glover, and John Toyne.
Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Rae Lynn Willits.

I didn’t know Andy but he kept good people as friends, to me that speaks to his good nature.
Remember the best times you spent with him so your memory makes you smile.
I’m heart-broken to hear this news. Such a nice kid. I always genuinely appreciated him.
