    Dear Pat and family,

We remember Al as the drum major in the Larned High School band — and when he was in Glee’s Sunday School Class during his high school years. Both of us have good memories of working with Al on KU boards and on many Larned community activities. His music was an inspiration to all of us. We’re thinking of all of you with special caring.

    Glee and Jerry Smith
