William Spangler, Jr.

Memorial services for William James Spangler, Jr. 58, Eudora will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Evangelist Friends Church in Lawrence.  He died July 23, 2011 in Lawrence. 

He was born January 26, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of William Spangler Jr. and Rose Burton.

He worked for a house moving company and was later disabled due to an injury.

He is survived by his mother Rose Lawson, Eudora; a daughter Kayla Spangler; three sons, Gene Spangler, Kyle Spangler, and Ryan Spangler; three brothers: Ronald Spangler, Stover, MO; Steven Spangler, Springfield, MO; William Lawrence Abernathy, Jr., Virginia; and five sisters, Charlene Magill, Kansas City, KS; Deborah Pennington, Kansas City, MO; Donna Mack, Kansas City, KS; Sherry Steenstry, Kansas City, MO; Ann Marie Abernathy, Ottawa, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father William Spangler in 1993.

Family suggests memorials in his name to Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
