Virginia “Jeannie” Wright

Funeral services for Virginia “Jeannie” May Wright, 62, Oskaloosa, will be held 1 pm Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  She died June 23, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born on October 3, 1949 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Norman C. and Mabel Lucille (Hall) Wright.

She was a homemaker and housekeeper.

She married Donald Wright in August 1970.  He survives of the home.   

Other survivors are Leslie, Joe, Montana, Megan Richter, Cassville, MO, Rebecca Wright and her four children, brother, James Wright, Lawrence, sister, Wanda Freeman, Streamwood, IL.  She proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Norman Dee. 

The family will greet friends 5 – 7 pm Wednesday June 27, 2012 at the Mortuary. 

Memorial contributions may be sent in her name to Jeannie Wright Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the Mortuary.

    Sorry about you all losing Jeannie. She was a wonderful person and very well loved. I enjoyed coming out to her’s and Donnie’s house. She will be missed. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this tough time.

    Donnie I know you understand the depth of love I felt for Jeannie. She was my best friend – someone who was always there for me. My heart is broken into so many pieces by her passing. When times get tough – come sit with me and we will cry and remember together the woman who touched both our hearts.
