Memorial Services for Sylvia B. Lukes, 54 Lawrence, will be held at 11:00 a.m. February 13, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alexandria, Minnesota. She died January 21, 2010 at her home, in Lawrence.
She was born May 18, 1955 in Alexander, Minnesota the daughter of Melvin J. Lukes and Matilda Klimek.
She is survived by her brothers: Loren, Leonard, Mark , Peter, Francis and Kevin.
I worked with Sylvia at K.U., she was a good friend. She would always pick me up when I felt down. I am sorry for your and my loss. I did not know she was sick. I am glad you took her home. She talked about Minnesota, and her family allot.
I will miss her. You are in my prayers.
Good-bye classmate and old friend, Sylvia! I still have the Jesus Book bible that you gave me years ago. I hope you came to terms with your inner struggles. Jesus loves you and so do I. Rest in peace-Carol Jean
