Dear Jan, Bill, Tom and all of the Green family,

Sara and Cecil have played a large roll in the Penny family. Sara Jean was Jun’s first cousin. Through the years, Sara and Jun often shared many memories of Grandfather Underwood, life in the Underwood household and many, many family events and stories. There were happy times and sad times, and it all impacted their lives with their living in Lawrence, going to Pinckney together, being good friends through High School and on through life until their death’s. I delighted in being a part of that from fifth grade, at Pinckney, where Sara was my friend, until Cecil then Jun and now Sara have died. Sara was always a very cute little girl. I am thankful you printed her picture as the darling that she was.

Loyalty and sincere affection were the outstanding characteristics of all three of those three precious people. I thank God for them.

    My love to you all,
    Mary Lou Penny
