Funeral services for Nora Mae Dyche, 89, Eudora, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel. Interment will be Saturday, June 4, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Marshfield, MO. Nora died June 1, 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS.
Nora was born on September 22, 1921 in Marshfield, MO the daughter of Delever and Maggie Mae (Burtchette) Dalton.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a sister, Pearl Barrett, Eudora, KS; three grandchildren, Grant Manning, Lee’s Summit, MO, Eric Manning, Winchester, KS, and Angela Duncan, Anchorage, AK; seven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrance M. Dyche; one daughter, LaVonne Manning; and one granddaughter, Rhonda Buchan.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the Mortuary.
I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Nora’s passing. She was one of my favorite aunts. May God wrap his arms around you all and bring you comfort. You all are in our hearts and prayers.
