Marcia — You may remember me from the IBM Topeka days… I worked for Mike at the IBM Branch office there. What a fun-loving person Mike was. He cared very much about his people and about working hard. I’ll always remember his thunderous laugh. I moved to Conway, Arkansas 15 years ago and am now with HP. The IBM network is in motion and sharing this sad news. My thoughts are with you and your entire family…

Dear Ms. Nell, Becky, David, Marica and other family members. I was sadden to read Mikes obituary in this mornings paper so instead I reflected on the my freshman year at CHS when Mike rushed me into the DST’s. He was Sargent of Arms, looked like he stood 6’3″ and weighted 250lbs. I was scard to death of him but as time went on I realized he was nothing but a great big loving teddy bear. I’m very sorry for your loss and will pray for you’al.

I am so sorry to read in the Columbus paper about Mike’s death. We became good friends at Columbus High. What a wonderful photo….just the smile I remember. He was always pleasant, good-natured and fun to be with. Though we have not stayed in touch, I regret losing an old friend and classmate. My thoughts are with the family.
