Mary Guss

A memorial mass for Mary Ann Guss, 98, of Baldwin City, Kansas will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin City, Kansas. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Baldwin City.

Mrs. Guss died Monday,  July 5, 2010 at Baldwin Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Baldwin City.

She was born March 21, 1912 in Ely, Minnesota the daughter of Frank and Frances (Mihelcich) Antoncich. 

Mrs. Guss was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin City, Kansas.  She lived in Baldwin City since 2000, moving from Tucson, Arizona where she had lived since 1988.

She was married to Robert Clarence Guss on November 20, 1937 in Duluth, Minnesota.  He preceded her in death on October 16, 2000.

Survivors include;  two sons, Steve and his wife Linda Guss of Baldwin City, Kansas and David L. Guss of Casa Grande, Arizona; two grandchildren, Erin and her husband Brad Scraper and Adam Guss; three great grandchildren, Samantha Ann Scraper, Addison Charlotte Scraper, and Kyan Summit Guss.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Annunciation Catholic Church and they may be sent to Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, Kansas.
