Martha was a truly delightful, special person. I looked forward to my time with her each week, listening to her childhood stories or amazing poetry recitations, or the enjoyment of reading the Bible or ” Jesus Calling ” together. I will miss her dearly and feel honored to have shared a part of her life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I usually arrived early at the LBDA board meetings and had some time to talk with your mother/grandmother. She seemed like a lovely person. I know all her family and friends will miss her.

Karen, You are the only one who would remember me from your siblings, I’m sure. I remember your folks but especially your mother from my childhood when we moved back to Topeka from Montana. I thought she was one of the nicest women I knew!! She always was willing to talk to me even though I was a child. And I thought you were one of the prettiest little girls too. My mother and dad thought a lot of your folks too. Their quiet ways touched a lot of lives. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all.
