Mark Williams

A memorial service for Mark Williams, 57, Lawrence, KS, will be held 11 a.m.  Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Lawrence.
Mr. Williams died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at his home. He was a life-long
resident of Lawrence.

He was born September 9, 1952 in Lawrence, the son of David B. and
Audrey Churchman Williams. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1970. He received a BGS degree from Washburn University and a JD degree from the Washburn University School of Law.

Mark served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany.

He attended First United Methodist Church.

He married Peggy Jorn on November 29, 1975 in Russell, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include: his mother, Audrey, three daughters; Tiffany, Kiara and
Megan Williams, all of Lawrence; two sons, Jeff and Keith, both of Lawrence;
a sister, Chris LoBurgio, Littleton, CO and two grandchildren, Nacoma
Alderman and Rylie Chaney.

Memorials in his name may be made to Douglas County Visiting Nurses, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care or to the First United Methodist Church.

The family will greet friends after the service.

    Peggy: I’m so saddened to learn of Mark’s passing. I won’t be able to be in Lawrence on Tuesday, but my heart & thoughts will be with you and your family.
