Letha Wulfkuhle

Funeral services for Letha L. Wulfkuhle, 90, Baldwin City, will be held  at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010  at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Shawnee County, Kansas.  She died February 7, 2010 at Vintage Park in Baldwin City, KS.

She was born January 22, 1920 in Stull, Kansas the daughter of Fred H. and Ettie L.(Kreipe) Wulfkuhle.

She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1938. After, graduating she worked on the family dairy farm near Big Springs, KS until she became employed at the Kansas Department of Revenue where she worked as supervisor until she retired in 1983.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stull, KS and formerly attended a Church of Christ Bible Study in St. Louis, Missouri.

Survivors include one niece, Dorothy Martin and her husband, Gerald of Baldwin City and nephew, Calvin Spencer and his wife, Shirley of Lawrence and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the Church of Christ in Stull, KS and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
