Julias was a wonderful person. I had the opportunity to meet him at Camp Hope this past summer. He lit up the camp with his outgoing personality and truly inspired others around him. May you be at peace that he is no longer in pain.

Julius was my student this year in Biology. His smile and warmth brightened my classroom and my heart. I am deeply saddened by his passing and will miss his sweet spirit. My deepest sympathy to his family. He will be missed and remembered.

It was my first year at Camp Hope and Julias was there to show me the “ropes” sort of speaking. He always knew how to make me laugh to the point of crying. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him. Despite having cancer, he lived life to the fullest. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

I met Julias this summer at Camp Quality GKC along with his sister, Ruth. Julias was brilliant, spirited, joyous, and hilarious! He made the entire camp laugh until it hurt during the Talent Show! And Ruth was always by his side offering her love and support; their connection was amazing to bear witness to. In fact, I got to meet the entire family at the Heroes and Halos event in September, and every one of them was full of love for one another–the kind you can see and feel. I am thankful to have known Julias and to have been touched and blessed by his spirit. Myself and the entire Camp Quality family offer you blessings of peace and comfort, and we look forward to supporting Julias’ legacy and each of you in any way we can.

Julius brightened our lives with his smile. He was one of the sweetest and happiest people we knew. He was our 2011-2012 classmate at South West Middle School and will always be remembered by every one he encountered.

He was the bestest friend anyone could ask for. He always gave amazing hugs, and would give one to a stranger if they asked. A smile was always on his face, even when he wasn’t feeling the best. Whenever he laughed, it echoed throughout the entire room, making everyone smile.
Although his English wasn’t the best, and he didn’t understand everything, he always gave it his all. He worked harder than most kids, and that showed.
We will all miss him, and we will never ever forget his smile – the one that never left his face.
