Jack was probably the most kind and decent man I ever knew; and he honestly didn’t even think of how to be otherwise. I love him and I miss him; but I’m glad he’s through with the fight he was putting up! Love to you all!

This is just so hard the comfort is knowing he is not hurting anymore and in a way better place then we could ever dream of, but the hard part is missing him and wanting him here! I’m so very sorry for your loss.youy are ALL in my thoughts and prayers. This song has been on my heart since the very day this happened and I want to share it with you. Rest, rely, and take comfort in Him.

    It Came to Pass
    Album: Martins
    Artist: The Martins

Sickness must be present for healing to take place
Lives must be broken so they can be restored
We must stop looking at our hard times
    Like they were dead-end roads
But avenues to prove that He is Lord

    It didn’t come to stay
    It came to pass
The Lord will move that mountain if you’ll ask
The trials that we see today won’t last
    It didn’t come to stay
    It came to pass

If I should live by sight I would be beaten down
Because I can’t see past these walls of circumstance
But faith will be my substance
And my hope is in The Lord
And He will turn my sorrow into dance
And He will turn my sorrow into dance

    It didn’t come to stay
    It came to pass
The Lord will move that mountain if you’ll ask
The trials that we see today won’t last
    It didn’t come to stay
    It came to pass

Weeping may endure for the night
But I’ll find my joy tomorrow

I well remember growing up in Topeka with the Denton twins! We attended Randolph grade school, Boswell Jr. High and Topeka High school together. I feel so lucky that many of our classmates were able to see Jack and Jane at our recent 60th High School reunion in September. Jack made a great effort to be there and thanks to dear Jane he was. I have such good memories of our early school-aged years. I hope that Jack will look up my husband, Don Glazzard, who passed away last July! You are in a better place, Jack, with no illness!

    Fondly,
    Peggy Glazzard
