    Ed and Louise,
I am sorry to hear that Irene passed away. She worked for me making draperies for five years – 1977-1982 when Bud sold the window treatment part of the business to me- and we were just talking about her last week. She always said to make the biggest pair of draperies first and that is still what we do. Sylvia, who she worked with for many years in the workroom, turns 90 this year and is living with her daughter in Oregon. I have fond memories of Irene and I am sure the memories we all have of her will keep her alive. It is always hard to say goodbye and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. All my best, Jane Bateman
