Heidi Everley

Heidi Linnay Everley, DDS, 36, of Overland Park, Kansas died at home on 11/21/2011 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Heidi was born January 22, 1975 in Topeka Kansas to Marty Garren and Linda Binggeli-Reynolds.  She graduated from Topeka High School in 1993 where she excelled in diving, cheerleading and academics.  She then attended the University of Kansas where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and a member of the KU cheerleaders.  She was active in many academic clubs and enjoyed intramural sports.  After graduation, Heidi attended UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri where she graduated in 2002.

She married her husband, Mark, in May 2004 and had two children, Hayden and Parker, ages 4 and 2.  She and Mark lived and worked in Indianapolis, Indiana together for 7 years before returning to Kansas.  Heidi and her husband enjoyed traveling and were able to even complete a last trip to Hawaii earlier this year.

Heidi is survived by her husband, Mark, her daughter, Hayden, her son Parker, her parents Marty and Julie Garren and Linda and Doug Reynolds, and by her grandmother Sally Rice.  She is also survived by her brother, Matthew, and her sisters, Lisa Goodman, Ashley Garren, and Hannah Pleima.

Funeral Services will be held at Countryside Methodist Church in Topeka, Kansas on November 26, 2011 at 11:00AM.

The family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m. November 25, 2011 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
